2NE1 takes the world
2NE1 ( to anyone or "twentyone"; hangul 투애니원) are a female south-korean group consisting of four girls: BOM, CL, Dara and Minzy.
They are the first YG Entertainment all female group and as such everybody had really high hopes for them: the result was amazing.
2NE1 appears for the first time in the Big Bang song + MV 'Lollipop' as a collaboration for a LG spot.
Their official debut was with the song 'Fire' in 2009, which led to their reality show '2NE1 TV' that had fans know them away from ther stage-persona.
After a series of hits, I Don't Care, Can't Nobody, Go Away, Lonely, the true global success came with the song 'I am the Best'. With that, in 2011, they win the MTV IGGY Awards in the category Best New Band.
After that, they did various collaboration with different artists (solo or with the group), gaining attention from the fans all over the world.
In 2012, their first japanese album 'Collection' comes out, with the single Scream and a cover of Madonna's Like a Vergin. Also that year, a new single 'Love' is released.
They are the first female south-korean band to have a world-tour and with the 'Global tour New Evolution' that dream becomes a reality, even the New York Times praise them including them in the 'Best Concerts of 2012'.

Dara, my queen, she is just so naturally beautiful. She's also a great actress!
CL, the leader, she is usually full of make up so you won't see her like this often (lol). Her rapping skills are amazing!
Minzy, the maknae, she really is the body of the group and also the best dancer.
Bom, the main voice, she collaborated with G-Dragon in the past before her debut. She has a very unique voice.
