Movie Review: My little bride

Another movie review! This time too it's about a 2004 south-korean movie, called "My Little Bride". What to say other than I really loved it?

Plot: It all start when 15 years old Seo Bo Eun and college student Park Sang Min find themselves engaged and are really forced to get married. It all starts when their grandfather, who is not Sang Min's blood-relative but just a friend of his deceased grandfather, whom he made the promise to eventually unite the family into one. Since the two of them grew up like cousins they don't really see each other in that way and oppose the marriage, but when the grandfather will stage up his own death and make them promise to marry they will have no other choice but to do so.

That's right, they marry with their families blessing (although Bo Eun's mom will be the only one against it) and start living in their own very apartment! From then on, how will their life go? What will happen?

Useless to say, at the start it's not easy. They seems to be at each other's throat and eventually always ends up annoying each other up. Also she is nothing but a little girl totally inexperienced in love while he is a serial playboy how loves women. Not to forget, their personalities totally collide!

*Contain spoilers*

Things starts to change again when Sang Min is sent to Bo Eun's school as a part of his internship, becoming her art teacher! So not only at home, the two are forced to be together even in school and nobody, except the principal, has to know about their relationship! Not just that but Bo Eun has also to hide the fact that she got a boyfriend!

Eventually all's well what ends well and the two of them start to care more about each other. Sang Min finds out about her boyfriend and really helps her out a lot in school! From that on Sang Min's feeling are clearly showed, as he quits his shallow-playboy ways to become a more responsible adult and husband.
While on her part, Bo Eun will have a lot of growing up to do but will eventually realize her feeling just at the end (I won't spoil more about it hehe).

In conclusion, this may seem like your ordinary romantic comedy but it's just more than that in my opinion. This is the best korean-movie I've seen in a while and I loved everything about it!
Just to assure those wondering, there are not x-rated scenes and they really have a pure relationship up until the end of the movie, so you know he's not a pedophile. Seriously, everybody can see this even children.

The two starst of the movie are: Moon Geun Young, class 1987, as Seo Bo Eun.

And Kim Rae Won, class 1981, as Park Sang Min.

I'll suggest you watch out for them, especially her. On screen they were an amazing couple, with so much chemistry!  Alas it's a pity but they didn't work together after that movie (even though it was quite successful).

Lastly, please be sure to watch this movie. Like me, I think you'll also love it!
