Golden Time  (ゴールデンタイム Gōruden Taimu) is a japanese anime of 24 episodes, aired from October 2013, produced by J.C. Stuff.

Plot: Tada Banri is at his first day in college in a new city and he doesn't know anyone, nor even himself since he had an accident and lost all of his memory the year before.
Soon he meet Mitsuo, a guy who is in the same year and class as him, while they're talking they're abruptly interrupted by a girl, Koko Kaga, as she smash a bouquet of roses in Mitsuo's face.
Yep, like that, Anyway Koko is Mitsuo childhood friend and self-proclaimed 'fiancee', but he isn't on the same page and doesn't consider her at all.. in fact he finds her quite annoying. But to his surprise, Banri is captivated by Koko's charm and does not mind her stalking presence at all.
Koko is a beautiful girl and seems to come from a rich family, she's also very spoiled and has an habit of wanting things to go her way such as attending the same schools as Mitsuo and marrying him, against his will. She doesn't seems to care or even notice she's being hated by him.
Mitsuo's face everytime he spots Koko.

Anyway, the more Mitsuo tries to shake her off, the more Banri spends time with her, becoming her first real friend and getting to know the real her, a shy rich girl who doesn't befriend or know anybody until then apart from Mitsuo. Meanwhile everybody has to chose a club and Banri as a strage encounter that will mark his life for good.
He mets Linda, a senpai from the Festival Club how is very kind and beautiful and make him feel weird. Soon, after a wild night celebrating with other clubs trying to reclute them, Banri decides to enter the Festival Club and push Koko to do the same, with him.
While time passes by, Banri becomes friends with Oka Chinami and 2D-kun, and along with Mitsuo and Koko they form a group. But Koko is not fond of Chinami, since Mitsuo is in love with her. Still, Koko hates her and let her know that in her usual outspoken way.
That is, until Mitsuo is finally sick of Koko and tells her the harsh truth: he doesn't love her and never will. Koko is desperate but finds consolation in Banri, who likes her very much but can't say anything yet.
After a while, even Mitsuo gets his heart broken since Chinami doesn't like him in that way and for the shock he dye his hair and act weirdly for a while. At the same time Banri finally ends up going out with Koko!
Don't be fooled by the above pic, Mitsuo couldn't be happier for them (actually he's just a bit worried for Banri, since he knows how Koko's oppressive love can be)!
But not all is good in paradise.. Banri starts having problems with his memory once again.. So what will happen?

(From this point on contains spoilers)

All starts when Banri finds an old photo...
... of him and Linda during high school ?? He doesn't remember anything, and is shocked, but eventually will find out that Linda is his childhood friend and longtime crush! One night, waiting for her reply to Banri's confession he was hit by a motorcycle and fell off a bridge.
Banri's state of mind start getting worse and worse, sometimes he sees his old self  ghost trying to posses his new-self  and gets scared. Anytime that happens he loses his mind. Of all of this Banri makes no mention to Koko or anyone else except Linda, who tries to help him.
Banri freaking out.
Time goes on as Banri continues to hide his fears and plays happy with Koko and his friends but eventually he'll tell her his circumstances, including Linda (making her super jelous). Koko won't give up and helps him as much as she can, feeding him with her love.
Lovebirds.
Aren't they adorable?

While Chinami and Mitsuo face some love-related troubles, things starts to really fall apart when Banri's oldsef returns and he doesn't remember anything AFTER the accident. This time things won't go smoothly as Banri is sure he'll surely lose all his memory and turn into his old-self without remembering Koko or anyone else, not even his current self.
Well, after this I won't say anything more but I can assure you there'll be major drama coming up!! Will Banri lose his memories again? Will he be together with Koko or will he chose Linda again? And what about Linda, Mitsuo and Chinami?

Conclusion:  Trust me when I say you wanna watch this anime. And why shouldn't you? Just the author name, Yuyuko Takemiya, says it all. If you don't know she is the same behind the famous 'Toradora' -another anime I loved and suggest to you- all of the in light novel form.
This anime is great, there is all you need: cuteness, drama, tragedy, friendship and love! The characters are complex but described in all their emotions and mindsets, sometimes at the begginning they may seems shallow but you'll understand them fully at the end. And the couple Banri-Koko is super sweet! You can't help but love and cheer for them!
Funny thing: there is 'Nana'! Well, it isn't really Ai Yazawa's but a Nana wannabe, that is to say a girl trying -hard- to be like her! I was shocked at first but then, it really is funny and she is really cool!

Also you can't miss the amazing songs of this anime by Yui Horie! First Opening:

Make sure to watch it!
